Learning baseballIdea: Give home field advantage in the World Series to inter-league winner (not All-Star game winner)
Suggested by: IS Team

Since every team must be represented in the All-Star, and fans determine the majority of the rosters, the game isn’t about putting the best team on the field, but staging an exhibition. Managers have to try to play everyone, not being able to work specifically at winning the game. The stronger league, as determined by inter-league play, would have truly earned home field advantage.

Should MLB make this change to WS home field determination?

Idea: Both leagues need to start using the same DH rules
Suggested by: IS Team

It’s not fair for an AL pitcher to hit in an NL park, or for an NL team to be expected to plan for 10 starters in a game. The experiment has gone on too long. It’s time to standardize. When MLB does, all other divisions of baseball can align with that.

Having said that, we suggest keeping the designated hitter across both leagues. Watching a pitcher strike out 3 times each game is unexciting. We don’t make hockey goalies skate and shoot. Let’s not make pitchers bat and run bases.

Should the DH rule be standardized for both leagues?
